The write-up
This was in our mind for quite some time.
We wanted to test ourselves in a big bike ride and see if we could do it. This was the perfect test.
We started in Vienna’s 10th district and headed east towards the Danube. Leaving the city behind, we spent most of the ride cycling alongside the river, surrounded by green landscapes, quiet paths and open countryside.
Along the way, we passed Fischamend, Bad Deutsch-Altenburg and Hainburg, with its impressive bridge across the Danube.
From there, we continued through Wolfsthal, crossed the border into Slovakia and finished the ride in Bratislava old town, where we had ice cream and coffee.
Highly recommended if you are into bikes and around Vienna.
